The Chief Minister will be asked tomorrow if he is committee to the new minimum wage due to come into force in April.
From April 1, the minimum hourly wage will be £13.46 or everyone 18 and over and £10.76 u18s but over compulsory school age.
That rise has been met with strong criticism from several business sectors, but been backed by politicians.
On Tuesday morning, Julie Edge will ask Alf Cannan: “Whether he remains committed to the increase in the Minimum Wage due to come into force in April 2026; and if he will make a statement.”
Last week saw the government commit to help local businesses adapt to the significant increase.
